April 2012 - We opened for business on Easter Saturday and what a big day it was! We were so happy to see people whom we hadn't seen for three years as we celebrated the re-opening of Rosewood Cottage. Thank you all for making it such a wonderful day!
March 2012 - Nearly there! We are determined to open Easter Saturday and are racing to get all the little details just right.
February 2012 - It's taking a little longer than expected to get everything just perfect but we hope we will be able to open in March. Watch this space!
December 2011 - The renovations are well under way and the plasterers have just about finished. (Tim and I never want to remove old lathe and plaster ever again). There is still a lot of work to be done, such as painting inside and out, fitting out the kitchen, paths around the house etc but we're still hoping to be opening in February. Fingers crossed.
October 2011 - Our new cottage has arrived! The builders are now joining together the sections of transported house and soon we will be able to start the renovations both inside and out.
May 2011 - All our permits are now in place and we are allowed to commence building. The excavations will happen any day now (weather permitting).
We have purchased a beautiful old Federation farmhouse which will be transported onto the property and renovated over the coming months.
We have been busy in the garden redesigning many areas. The inclusion of an orchard and much larger food production area is very exciting, as it means we will be growing much more of our own produce to use in our desserts, cakes, lunches and preserves.
